The 1st Annual Tacoma Film Festival is hitting local screens from October 6th through October 12th. But, if you aspire to film making greatness, a few other dates are right around the corner. September 1st is the deadline for film submissions. Also, volunteers are needed and the first volunteer meeting is September 5th. So get you act together and join the festivities. What a great idea. Sure it’s not the Seattle filmfest, but things like this will bring out many more of the brilliant artists in Tacoma and further create activities. Though I’m not a film buff, I’ll definitely be in attendance. Kudos to the Grand for putting this on.
