Was I Street and Yakima (through downtown) so in need of work that it had to be chip sealed from from end to end? As a bicyclist that, lately, puts approximately 200 miles a week on a bike, I’m very aware of road conditions. I don’t remember these roads needing work. Now, with bones rattling and rocks flying we have to avoid these stretchs of road entirely. Please tell me there’s more to the project. Please tell me that asphalt will be put on top soon. Or will we rival Sumner for unfriendly-to-bicyclist roads?
