Do you remember the Old City Hall condo project? It was announced with a fair amount of fanfare, the commercial tenants were kicked out, then silence. Now, after many months of no new news, we have news. We’ve heard through the grapevine that Old City Hall condo project will be opening its sales office for the Tour of Urban Living this year. When done, there’ll be 41 units. The target market is the young, hip, urban Tacoman – all four of you. This is a very unique building. There’s a lot of potential here. The Tour of Urban Living is October 14th and 15th. We can’t wait. |

This is an incredible building and one of the keys to the theater district reaching its potential. Old City Hall is likely the building most visually associated with Tacoma.
They obtained a minor demolition permit on the 19th of September and have been working to gut the commercial space on commerce last week.
With that said, they still have some tenants in the building.
Does anyone know where their sales office will be located?
There was a rumor it was going to be nearby the Matador on Pacific. However, I think that will be for another building.
Still…..I miss the vistas from the old lounge on the upper floors – some of the best in Tacoma.
