There are several meetings coming up related to Sound Transit’s potential plans to cross Pacific Street. The one tonight sounds quite interesting.
AIA Meeting
Who: The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and you.
What: Come and hear the AIA’s thoughts, concerns, and recommendations for how Sound Transit’s southbound tracks to Lakewood might or will impact the Dome District, adjacent districts, and the downtown corridor.
When: Wednesday, September 27th, 5pm-7:45pm
Where: Freighthouse Square, Phoenix Hall, east end of the Square.
I can’t make it tonight. If you do, please send us a summary so we can share it with all the folks here. Thank you.

If they were to put in some vertical mounting assets or a tunnel, maybe they could just go over or under the Pac Ave corridor.

I am going to try to make it to this. I don’t have to work late tonight and it looks interesting.
In other news it looks like the meat/produce store in Ist is getting set to open, exciting.

Andrew: Glad you’ll be there. I look forward to hearing what comes about. I’d go were it not for a couple other things planned for the evening.
