This photo on eBay came to my attention and, while my normal perspective is quite positive, this isn’t. The photo is, however, a piece of our city’s history. What is it? It’s a photo of a hanging man with a caption of “Lynched -Tacoma Washington”. The photo is estimated to be from 1902. Shouldn’t be that surprising, lynching was once America’s favorite pasttime. That’s past though, now they just tie them on the back of pickups and drag them untill their head falls off.
