The City Steps Townhomes at South 21st and Yakima are having an Open House on Thursday night.

What: Open House including Wine, Cheese, and a faux designer purse and jewelry sale.
Where: City Steps – 2100 South Yakima Avenue
When: Thursday, November 30th, from 4 to 7 pm.

Check it out. Why? Because City Steps is a first mover in a neighborhood that could be something amazing in a few years. At this point, it’s in the middle of very little. However, those empty lots are all permitted for new projects. City Steps took the risk and moved in early. Consequently, these townhomes are significantly less expensive than the condos on the north side of downtown. As the neighborhood fills in, I believe that investment will pay off well. It’s not a short term investment. This is an an investment in the long term health of the city. It’s a blank slate. We’ll see…
