Join the folks from Beautiful Angle this Friday night and help support a good cause.
From the invitation:
Come hang out with us on FRIDAY, December 8. That’s the date for the Second Annual Beautiful Angle Holiday Benefit Show. This year we are holding an ART SUPPLY DRIVE.
Grab all your friends and join us at Black Water Cafe in Tacoma around 7ish. There will be live music, featuring Friday Mile, good food, great company, and a bunch of lovingly-created letterpress posters. All proceeds and donations will go to supporting the therapeutic art room at Nativity House, a Tacoma drop-in shelter.
The first 50 folks to bring in a donation of art supplies or cash will receive a commemorative BA poster. This is your chance to buy some letterpress art at low prices, hear some great music, hang out with some cool folks, drink some amazing coffee, and make a difference in a few lives. Come with art supplies, cash, and maybe a smile or two. We hope to see you soon.

Local music, local art, local coffee shop…
This sounds like a winner to me. Just don’t get there until after 7:30 so I can have first dibs on the posters.

It was terrific but so crowded! Considering how fast the posters disappear these days I’m not surprised. We couldn’t stay more than 20 minutes, but I was able to pick up the Murray Morgan bridge poster I’d wanted.

Would have liked to go but have fear of large crowds. I still like you though beautiful angel!

It was a fun benefit. I overheard both, “Too many people are talking. I can’t hear the band.” as well as “The band is too loud. I can’t talk to people.” As the talkers moved outside & the listeners inside, I think people found their groove. Many thanks to the speedy baristas dealing with the crowds.
(Besides, any show that has gummy bears is a winner in my book.)

Thanks to all of you who came and spent. We collected a bunch of quality art supplies, as well as over $2,100 for the art therapy room at Nativity House. – Tom from Beautiful Angle
