You know, this doesn’t sound half bad…
FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, December 8, 2006 — Starting in March, Tacoma, Washington, will have a new way for busy families to assemble 12 meals in 2 short hours for under $3 a serving. Knowing that time-starved families are looking for economical ways to enjoy meals together in their home was the catalyst for bringing Dinners Done Right to the North Tacoma market.
The process is easy. You go to the Dinners Done Right website and select from the rotating monthly menu of items to choose from. Then, pick a day and time that is convenient for you to visit the well-stocked professional kitchen with all of the ingredients already prepped and ready to assemble using the easy-to-follow instructions.
During your meal assembly session, you will move to various meal assembly stations located throughout the facility to complete your 12 meal package in provided freezer-friendly storage containers. In 2 hours or less you will walk out of the door with 12 meals ready to store in your freezer and enjoy at your convenience.
“With the tremendous growth in the Tacoma area, we felt that the increasing amount of busy, active families needed a way to save time, money and the hassle of getting dinner on the table,” say Rob and Kathie Novasky, Tacoma’s Dinners Done Right franchise owners.
“Also, by offering both full-size and half-portion options, this is something most every household can use – from working couples to larger families. Servings are generous and the customer controls what goes into their meals,” adds Kathie.

I started going to the original store with my girlfriends when they first opened. I have not gone in over a year, but was planning to go back this month. It will be nice to have the company in Tacoma, the meals are flexible and varied. Some stuff I wasn’t wild about, but you can duplicate one item and skip the thing you don’t like.

The few people I know who have bought these type of packages really love them. They say they eat generally healthier food now at home more often for significantly less money.
Of course if you’re already doing a wide array of cooking, this may not make as much sense.
