Bronzeworks sounds fascinating. I did call Vin Grotto in hopes that they had piano again up until showtime, but the person who answered said “I don’t know; I haven’t heard.” She did go on to say they are completely booked for tonight’s show. Except for those who didn’t make a reservation, that’s really good to hear. Should be a fun house.

Thanks, DavidS, Bronzeworks was incredible! The pour-at-seven was cool, but the best part was the informal shop-tour afterwards. Being able to see and learn about the production process and seeing several pieces of all sizes in various stages of production was fascinating. Bronze goats, larger-than-life oxen, the new and old Alki Statues of Liberty…standing in the middle of a life-size Larry Anderson grouping was eerie… It’s great having such a world-renown shop right here in Tacoma that is so open to sharing what hey do. Highly-recommended!
