I know. You looked at One Stadium Way and thought, “Yeah, but 1975 wasn’t a good year for me.” or “Yeah, it looks good. However, I need a bit more space for that kind of money.” So, for a wee bit over half the cost of a penthouse condo, you could have 6500 square of 1909 opulence on the edge of the Stadium District. Frederick Heath designed. 3 Fireplaces. The interior woodwork looks stunning. Murals! My house doesn’t have murals and I’m suddenly feeling quite inadequate.

Best of all, there’s an open house this weekend.
Where
619 North I Street
When
Sunday, February 25th from 1 to 4 pm.

Also, check out the For Sale By Owner at North 8th & Yakima. Rumor has it that the original owner wanted to piss off the owner of the apartment across the alley and so made the roof line pitch up as high as possible. The resulting architecture is very unique. The fliers were sold out when I stopped by so I’m not sure how much it’s going for. Anyone grab a copy?

And with the money you would have saved by not buying One Stadium #16 you could buy yourself a small weekend condo in Seattle….and Portland.

This is a fabulous house and I am glad it got posted. The house across the street is also amazing although priced a little steep.

Most info on a home can usually be found on Zillow.
Here’s the Yakima house:

I am the listing agent for this home at 619 N “I” Street. I specialize in the historic district and in “Old” homes. I LOVE them! I live in one! (710 N “I” Street) I can tell you that when you own a grand historic icon, to sell it as a FSBO does the house, and it’s history a great disservice. When I list something like this Frederick Heath Creation the marketing is really important. Reaching the people that truly care about historic preservation and restoration is paramount when selling properties in the North Slope. Being knowlegeable about the restrictions on restoration and being able to point your buyers in the right direction actually protects the seller too. There are a myriad of reasons that it is best to be represented. Not a shameless plug….fact.

“I live in one! (710 N āIā Street)”
Great comments, and nice house, Martha. Isn’t that Red & Donna’s (and Billy’s) old place (which I just loved) or am I off a few houses? Either way, I’m glad 720 is in good hands.

Oops – typo on my part when researching, but WOW, 710 N. eye is a beauty! Please excuse my 710/720 error on previous post.
