Ethiopian Food at UWT Tonight (22. February 2007, 15:32 by Derek Young) ~ Mmm....

We just got a call from a hard-core Exit133 reader telling us (in between bites) that there’s some amazing Ethiopian food at UWT. Seattle’s Blue Nile restaurant is in the Mattress Factory building serving it up today only. It’s free to students. $3.00 for non-students. They’ve finished lunch already, but will be serving again from 6:45 to 8:00 tonight. Get yourself some rare (for Tacoma) Ethiopian food before heading to Molly Sweeney…

Also over at Ed’s Diner

Ethiopian food may be rare now, but I hear an Ethiopian restaurant is coming to 6th and is currently under construction.

My dream came true today: I got to eat Ethiopian in Tacoma!

Too bad it’s just for one day and too bad it was a Seattle restaurant. Makes me wonder: are there any Ethiopians living in Tacoma?

That would be sweet if one opened on 6th Ave. I also saw on Ed’s Diner that we will be getting a new (East) Indian restaurant soon- also on 6th Ave. I love Gateway but the more the merrier!
