The "Taste of Asia" Cooking Demos Start Saturday (26. February 2007, 18:27 by Derek Young) ~ Mmm...

The first in the “Taste of Asia” cooking series is this weekend. Check it out:

The Asia Pacific Cultural Center will have a fundraising cooking demonstration on six consecutive Saturdays, 10 AM-12 Noon starting March 3-April 7 at the Korean Women’s Association kitchen facility, 123 E 96th St., Tacoma. The Chefs will demonstrate how to prepare and serve complete meals of 6 cuisines: Thai, Korean, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and Filipino. Participants will learn about the home-style cooking from these different cultures and enjoy tasting a variety of dishes at each demonstration.

Cost is $50 per session. All the proceed from this project will support the 4-8th Grads Educational Cultural Treasure Trunk program.
