We first heard Daniel Blue’s poem at the Go Local kickoff a few weeks back. It seemed to represent the energy we see in so many artists in this town. So, we decided to capture it and share. Enjoy.

Love it. One of the Creative Cities teams initiatives, that I am a member of, has been trying to find a way to feature South Sound artists via video (and television). You’ve done it in excellent fashion. I look forward to more featured artists. Great work Daniel, Derek, Erik and all the contributing photogs.
AMAZING!!! I am so proud to be a Tacoman. Wait, I think I saw this before somewhere else??? I must be imagining things. Daniel Blue I love you!

“I’ve got PLANS for you!”
That was my favorite part. Now I will go outside to relish in the sights, sounds and smells of our lovely city.

In addition to being a poet, he has a clothing line too. Check out the 253 configuration into hearts and skulls on shirts:
the 253 heart and the 253 skull are prime ways to show your lotac to the world. love and death in the 253
This gave me goose bumps, real goose bumps. It was nice, refreshing, even inspiring. Kudos to you.

Goose bumps here, too!
I even emailed those two words to the director yesterday. The content of the poem, the impassioned reading, the scenes of our city so magnificently choreographed with appropriate music = TACOMA MAGIC !

I just found that Exit133 has an iTunes video podcast. Was that announced? The quality seems better than the Google video version. Thank you for the Tacoma videos. I love it.

I am finding Tacoma to be one miracle after another. Thank you, bless you, Daniel and all . . .

I used to live there, but now I don’t. I’m experiencing Tacomania after that experience. I Always liked Tacoma…wishing I was back.

So now, along with Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu we have the Tacoma Mania? I was starting to wonder if everyone had their shots up to date or possibly a case of too many shots, not quite sure.

I prefer to call it “Tacomanifesto”. Keep it y’all. I love seeing people appreciate our city.
