Walking Through Molten Glass on July 19th? (13. July 2007, 08:06 by Derek Young) ~ Metal Shoes! Always Fun

Art Walk / Third Thursday is next week on the 19th. Something that caught our eye is Tacoma Glassblowing Studio’s description of their guest artist that night, Evan Schauss:

Evan will pour molten glass onto steel plates,
Then walk through glass with special metal shoes,
Manipulate the glass with metal gloves
and hang on a copper pipe.

Any art that involves walking through molten materials gets our attention.
