Calendula Building Changes Hands (19. July 2007, 07:15 by Derek Young) ~ Welcome To The Neighborhood

According to the tax assessor’s website, the building on North I Street owned by the folks behind Calendula was sold last month for $665k. We’ve mentioned the building before. I’ll be honest, we’ve received more questionable tips about the sale of this building than any other… But if the tax assessor says it’s so, it must be so. Now, what’s next for the space? Anybody?

Update

The chirping birds are about. The word on the street seems to be that building will be demolished and a new mixed use building will be built in its place. Ground level retail. A medical office. Two levels of condos. Parking in the building.

I thought I had heard that Guadalajara was moving to this space after the sale of the current location to John Xitco’s X Group.

What happened to Calendula, and what if anything is in their future?
