Our daily travels today found ourselves on the front step of Funkoma Vintage. The shop on East 26th Street was recently opened by long time Exit133 reader and friend, Tressie Schindele, and features, as Tressie put it, “everyday funny silly stuff.” She grabs a bit of classic Americana off shelf and states, “What were they thinking?” She puts it back down and points at a table, “This looks like it could fly away.” There are a few things in the shop that I may need… okay, it’s not about need, but I really want them.
So, if you’re in need of a pair of made in the USA Chuck Taylors, a vintage Schwinn, a couple of sweet paint by number paintings, or some hard to find Tacoma t-shirts, Funkoma can hook you up. Check it out. AND support an Exit133 reader.

Based on this posting, I checked the place out today with some people. Nice store, and even nicer owner. Id recommend going, even if you dont intend to buy. Im sure you’ll find something.
