We had a great time wandering around Showcase Tacoma this past weekend. The art scene was top-notch but we spent a lot of time at Tollefson Plaza listening to some great music.
We particularly liked Beautiful Angle’s bus stop, not to mention its new location. Does the Number 3 bus stop there?

I only wish they let more independent local artists into the sidewalk chalk event.
What kind of art school encourages kids to copy other artist’s intellectual property?

Nice footage, Derek. Unfortunately, the Beautiful Angle Bus Stop only lasted one night. On close examination though, it looks like it made a nice sleeping compartment for someone before its demise. If it’s still there on Wednesday, Beautiful Angle will remove its remains.

My son and his girlfriend came down from Seattle to see the event and go to the Glass mueseum. They had a good time. Would have like to have seen more vendors selling ice cream,slushies,icees, It was hot!
