Hello Cupcake will be opening its doors this weekend. Tacoma’s latest food destination is located near UWT at 1740 Pacific. Drop by and welcome them to the neighborhood.

Looking forward to swinging by on Friday (although they’ve a grand opening Thursday?) and trying some cupcake goodness although I really don’t like cupcakes, I’m all for supporting them.

I think they will be able to take a “mob” pretty well as the cupcakes will be made before we get there.

This just shows how its hard to predict what kind of business works downtown. With an increasing number of UWT students arriving soon, they should be pretty popular.

I am certainly going to go there tomorrow. Looks like Kevin beat me there.

I believe a couple of guys tried to start a phone shop at this place years ago. It didn’t work.

I see there’s already a mini-movie about the opening of Hello Cupcake. Crazy.

Bummer. I just stopped by there to get Friday treats for the office and they’re CLOSED due to overwhelming support. Sign says they’re reopening at 4 — hopefully you all can put off your cupcake cravings until then.

Newsflash: they have decided to open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Labor Day. Quantities of cupcakes being made: unknown.
