How would you like it if you were a brash, good-looking financial planning type? Living in Florida? And you have an unexplained but well-known disdain for the elderly? And then one day, at the height of your powers, you contract a mysterious virus that rapidly ages your body?
Would you leave your good-looking girlfriend and lucrative job for an anonymous life in an apartment complex for the elderly? Would you fall for the kind neighbor woman? Would you be devastated when she dies shortly thereafter? Would you be- aw, forget it. You get the point.
There are obvious gaps in the plot line — it is a short film after all. And despite the contrived plot, the protagonist manages a few strong moments, and although the climax needlessly couples his misery in a nursing home with his former best friend strolling by with his former girlfriend, the final images of the film are powerful enough to warrant a viewing.
