Soup Ladle ( 3. October 2007, 09:08 by Erik) ~ By Erik Hanberg

Bad title, good short.

What starts as a curious film—a mother visiting her son and his roommate for dinner—turns odd. What’s up with the soup ladle? What the heck is going on? What’s the point of this movie? Is it supposed to be funny?

I was not too convinced this movie had anything going for it. Until the end. This is a one-joke movie, and the joke comes in the last 30 seconds. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a freaking hilarious joke. Well done short film.
