King's Books Book Art Auction - Tonight ( 4. October 2007, 10:23 by Derek Young) ~ Local Art. Doing Good. Oh Yeah

The always amazing King’s Books is holding an auction tonight of ‘beautiful book art’ provided by local artists. The proceeds will go toward book acquisition for underfunded school library programs.

Check out the items on the list. I’m into it. I’d bid on nearly everything… A Beautiful Angle and Springtide Press studio tour. Work from Jessica Spring, Windowpane Press, and many others. Free coffee for a year from Blackwater.

We hope to see you there.

October 4th, 2007 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm
218 St. Helens, Tacoma

We had a great time at the auction and picked up a few things. The official word from Sweet Pea at King’s Books is that the event raised $3721.55 for Tacoma Public School libraries. Amazing.
