The growing conversation that started last spring has continued over the summer. Tacomagardens.com was launched, the Tacoma Community Garden Tour was a great success a few weeks ago, and now a chance for more discussion.

On Oct. 20, from 1-5pm, hear from local scholars, community gardeners and organizers, and discover how community gardens fit into the bigger picture of sustainability, urban green spaces and local food. Snacks and beverages provided.

University of Washington – Tacoma
Carwein Auditorium
October 20th, 2007 from 1 to 5 pm

First off, I’m way excited to see all of the action going on around urban gardening.

Next, I’m pretty sure Growing Conversations 2 is going to be held at UWT, but I’m not quite sure exactly where on campus. Was this clear in the post?

It is at UWT. It’s more clear now.

At the UWT it is in the Carwein Auditorium. The building is just up the first set of stairs from Pacific and then across the pathway to the right. Should be a great conversation.
