We thought we would mention a few of the big Tacoma races here.
Marilyn Strickland and Lauren Walker are both far ahead of their opponents and will almost for sure be joining the Council; Incumbents Julie Anderson and Spiro Manthou both should be retaining their seats.
In other news the Roads and Transit package is losing, with solid “No” votes from King, Pierce, and Snohomish County.
Here’s Pierce County’s Election Results page which will be updated with more information as the remainder of the mail-in ballots are counted.

I would like to say congrats to Councilmen Stenger on being the only one of our elected officials that was willing to stick up for the citizen’s of Tacoma on Prop 1, when it was quite clear that we were getting the shaft. We’ll miss you Tom!

Congrats to Stenger. I found it interesting that Baker had half as many votes as Curry… and some people wonder who the nut case is in this town.
Still waiting for the pics from Brame’s house…. RR?
