COTW: Indulge Yourself (17. November 2007, 19:52 by Derek Young) ~ What Would You Like To Drink?

Our comment of the week bothered us for several reasons. First, it came in last Saturday. (Technically last week, but after our last COTW posting). Second, the choice is self-referential in that it talks about Exit133. On the other hand, it did make us laugh and, late on a Saturday, it’s a comment we remember. So, taking a second Comment of the Week is Mofo from the Hood:

Just think of E133 as a mixer with a no-host bar. You can indulge yourself as much as you want here and the next morning everybody pretty much wakes-up, shakes their head and says, “What was that all about.”

We shake our heads and think this nearly every day.

Ha! We feel that way sometimes after some of the busier commentfests on our site, which we have sometimes indeed considered a party … requiring host intervention now and then.

That COTW was nothing more than a paraphrase of E133 Guidelines.

In fact, everything I say is derivative from something else.

My prediction? Mofo wins COTW about half the time.

I’ve been in budget hearings too long, I saw COTW and thought it was Committee of the Whole. Aaargh! We’re almost done tho, and I think there is enough to love and hate about this budget to declare it a good one… at least the last draft I saw. :P

Tim, I can relate to your confusion.

When I first saw COTW, I thought it referred to “mean-spirited woman of the week.”
