Terra Organics Moves to McKinley (23. January 2008, 17:52 by Derek Young) ~ We Need Greens
As many of you know, we’ve been getting more and more into the whole local food lifestyle around here. Combine this interest with our new found love for Top of Tacoma and the surrounding McKinley neighborhood and this brings us to this:
Terra Organics, a produce home delivery company, has signed a new lease on a distribution facility on East 34th Street, near McKinley Ave.
Terra Organics delivers certified organic, farm-fresh produce to over 500 families in the South Sound. The company looks to expand their offerings to include more organic and sustainably raised products, including meat and eggs, and also to offer their products to local restaurants.
The company will take occupancy of the building immediately and will begin operations out of the new space on February 1st. Terra Organics WAS based in Kent….
Yeah!

I am hoping that they may consider opening a small retail component. It would be nice to pick-up fresh produce as needed, especially considering the demise of the Dome farmer’s market.

Anyone know which building this is? Maybe the one on 34th that has had a flooring and auto repair place in it?
