Get Well Charlie Benefit on Sunday Jan 27th
Are you doing anything on Sunday, January 27th? If not, or even if you are, you should head down to the Swiss and/or Metro Coffee to take part in the Get Well Charlie Brown fundraiser. Who’s Charlie? Which Charlie? Charlie Kempe of Metro Coffee fame. The event aims to raise funds to help pay Charlie’s outstanding expenses following his surgery. What surgery? We don’t have details, but Charlie’s always been cool to us so we’re passing this along.
There are silent and live auction items. Live music. Snacks and prizes. And, according to the flyer, special guests.
If you are able to donate something for the auction, I do believe they are still accepting items. Artwork. Gift certificates. Merchandise. Whatever works for you.
We hope to see you there.
