Ignore Your Resolution Day is Jan. 29th (28. January 2008, 15:17 by Derek Young) ~ What's Your Excuse?

The fine folks at Rusty George Creative have been so kind as to drop a postcard in our mailbox informing us that Ignore Your Resolution Day is January 29th. Why suffer needlessly they ask. So, for this day, they’ve provided us with a permission slip to show anyone questioning our resolve why it is we’re ignoring our resolution for the day. Reasons include:

• The devil made me do it
• Was drunk when I made them
• Cholesterol schmolesterol
• Have lowered my standards
• Fat rolls are growing on me

• Never liked those jeans anyway

… and many more.

However, this is a one time / one day use thing. Don’t make it a habit. As the disclaimer states: “Frequent or habitual ignoring of resolutions may lead further down the road paved with good intentions.”
