So Cute. So Creepy (15. February 2008, 10:13 by Derek Young) ~ So Quiet. So Sad.

Morgan Alexander, regular Exit133 commenter and Tacoma Sun founder, recently stumbled into a downtown basement with enough creepiness to cause nightmares for years to come. What was there? The kids and critters of a long ago Never Never Land…

Wild.

I checked out all of the pictures on the Tacoma Sun website.

This is clearly and X-Files case. These things will come to life and start walking around downtown if they’re exposed to sunlight. Last time these things were around they built Stonehenge. Hmmm…maybe they could hasten the completion of the Hotel Murano art work.

I love(d) everything about Never Never Land…..gosh, maybe I should steal them. I mean, that pic looks like a tragic ToonTown kidnap for ransom scenario……….

The creepiest part of taking these photos was actually before the light was turned on. Opening a door to find the faint silhouette of the figures gave me the willies! There’s a movie waiting to happen…

Aslan must be on the move.

If there is a wardrobe down there DONT’T ENTER IT. The white witch is very upset about global warming.

There also one in the back kitchen area of Capers (downtown).

I think its the “Pie Maker.” You can see him if you are at the register and look through the kitchen.

He stands about 8 feet off the floor and is facing toward you. About 6 feet tall. A bit spooky even in broad daylight.

How did these get there?

How scary to be the person that found those who didn’t expect it. But also, how cool to find them. I see true Tacoma heritage! I remember when I was shorter than most of the figures. Wow.
