McKinley Coffee Shop Now Open! (25. February 2008, 12:19 by Whitney) ~ Mmmm... Coffee
Exit133 took a field trip to the new coffee shop on McKinley Hill. We are pleased to report the place looks great. A couple of cute dogs waited for their owner outside. A line of eager customers inside. Plenty of windows let in the sunshine and friendly service created a neighborhood gathering place atmosphere. We particularly like the fireplace, built-in window seats, and the feeling like we’ve come into somebody’s home… ignoring the big espresso machine in the dining room, of course.

Horay! Welcome to the neighborhood from your friends at station 11. Good, non-corporate coffee a stone’s throw away. I will leave home early to get a cup before shift.

Great. Where’s the wheelchair ramp? Surely no responsible business owner would want the City to issue them a permanent certificate of occupancy without ensuring they are ADA-compliant?

This is great! I’m really happy to find a cafe near(ish) my house. I’m not quite in the neighborhood, but it’s close enough so I can hang out on weekends.
I plan to come by on Friday and say hi to y’all. And get coffee.
