Do you love the Grand Cinema? Or is their movie selection a little too eclectic? If you could describe what the Grand Cinema means to you… well, people want to know!
The Grand is asking folks to fill out a survey about what they like about the theater. It only takes a few minutes and there’s a drawing for 4 tickets to the Grand. Pretty please.

General idea I’d like to toss out – it would be cool to see the Grand partner with the Museum of Glass to use as an additional film space. The MOG has that whole air-conditioned theater with plenty o’seats that NEVER seems to get used enough. Just an idea though.

Broadweezy, do you know if MoG has a 35 mm film projector? That is typically the stumbling block for the Grand doing events away from their home port. Were it not for the projector issue, Theater on the Square would be another potential site. I don’t think those units are very mobile.

From what I understand, The Grand Cinema is kind of a thinking man’s/woman’s venue.
How about an old-fashioned pass-the-popcorn, scream and shake horror flick?
Heard of that movie Bridal Horror?

Yep I’m pretty sure the MOG doesn’t have a 35 mm projecter, shame, everyone should have one of those! Kidding. But I’m pretty positive they have a decent dvd projector system. Maybe the grand could sponsor and the MOG could host a film festival…or something of along those lines…
