For all of the trivia night addicts out there, Doyle’s Pub is hosting the second annual Smartest Person In Tacoma Contest.

The SPITting contest is to determine who the biggest smarty in Tacoma really is! Contestants will compete through two rounds of trivia, a round of definitions, and a spelling bee. The winner will be crowned the Smartest Person in Tacoma! Teams can be one or two persons. The entry fee is $5 per team with the proceeds going to Tacoma Public Schools.
Who wants bragging rights?

Thursday, March 6, 5:30 – 9 pm
Doyle’s Public House
208 St Helens Ave
5:30 – Registration begins
6:00 – Written Trivia Contest begins at Doyle’s
7:00 – Three rounds of Live Competition begin at King’s Books (Define-a-Thon, Trivia, Spelling Bee)

Will there ever be a pop culture smartest person in Tacoma?
It could ask about TV, Movies, Celebrity Gossip, and fashion trends…. I would sign up for that. It would make all that time reading US Weekly and O Magazine in the Checkout Line at Stadium Thriftway seem well-spent…
