The Tacoma Buddhist Temple’s Annual Sukiyaki Dinner is Sunday. We dropped in last year and it was quite the event. Everything is homemade and delicious. Eat in, or if you don’t feel like cooking dinner, get take out.
What is Sukiyaki anyway? Thinly sliced beef, tofu, and vegetables simmered in a shallow pot in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, and mirin. Basically a great Japanese comfort food.
