This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Daffodil Parade and Festival. The Royal Court has made appearances at both the Pierce County Council and the Tacoma City Council, and those yellow dresses sure light up a room. With the festivities fast approaching, we wanted to warn/excite everyone.

  • The Children’s Parade will take place in Proctor, on April 5, at 10am. For more information click here
  • The grand Parade will occur on April 12, starting in Tacoma before moving on to Puyallup, Sumner and Orting. For more information click here
  • There will be a marine parade on April 20th. This event is hosted by the Tacoma Yacht Club and will feature the Royal Court, military personnel and other yacht clubs. It will go from Ruston to Thea Foss and will turn around at the Glass Museum, starting time 10 or 10:30 and should arrive at the museum about 11:15 (ish). For more information click here

County Councilmember Farrell should be happy to hear that we wear our 75 years of the Daffodil Festival pins with pride.
