We’ve grown increasingly infatuated with the goings-on in the little town of Ruston. The latest thing to feed our frenzy, the City Council of Ruston tried to force The Commencement project sales center out of the old elementary school building. The details have something to do with exclusive versus non-exclusive use of certain parts of the space and whether leases had expired… or something like that. The result: The City of Ruston will be paying all attorney’s fees and expenses for both sides to the tune of $16k.
We need to visit Ruston more often…

Be sure to stop by Don’s Market when you come to visit Ruston (51st and Winnifred). They make a great sandwich and/or milkshake – and give a very entertaining summary of Ruston politics.
