An insightful tipster has told us that the Zimmerman family is now receiving offers above the asking price for the Elks Building. I know that you’re all thinking condos. Can we come up with something a little more creative? Nevermind. I just want to see this building in its glory once again.

Was it you or someone in the TNT that suggested a McMenamins? I still think that is the best idea I’ve heard.

Maybe if the Elks building is too ambitious of a renovation for the McMenamins brothers, they can buy the Foremost Dairy building instead…
