Using Art to Build Pride - NYTimes ( 3. June 2005, 05:47 by Derek Young) ~

The Museum of Contemporary Art in works with women in juvenile justice and drug rehabilitation programs in Miami. As I read the New York Times article I was reminded of Tacoma’s own, and rather impressive, Remann Hall Women’s Project.

The Remann Hall Women’s Project has been working for the past three and a half years to give incarcerated girls hope and to try to re-connect them to their potential so they are successful in creating a life for themselves once they leave.

Everything I’ve seen on this project impresses me. Support them if you can.
