Looking for a unique arts experience, ye ol’ seadog? Then grab your favorite lad or lassie and check out the legendary silent film The Black Pirate, starring Douglas Fairbanks, and presented by First Night Tacoma-Pierce County. The event is part of Tall Ships 2008 Shore Leave, and will feature renowned Tacoma organist, Dennis James.
Ticket-holders have a chance to enter a raffle and win a First Night “Family Pack,” tickets to the Prairie Home Companion Show, and many more prizes.
Proceeds support Tacoma’s New Year’s Eve celebration, First Night. First Night is an alcohol-free, arts-centric, all-ages New Years extravaganza.
