Wayfinding Meeting Tonight (17. July 2008, 14:18 by Whitney) ~ Left? Right? I'm Lost.

We apologize for the late notice, but … there’s a meeting being held tonight to gather input and learn about the wayfinding program.

What wayfinding program?

That’s the problem. Many incomplete efforts have been made to provide signage directing visitors and residents to important and interesting sites, venues and attractions downtown. These efforts have left downtown with incomplete and mismatched informational signage. The current wayfinding effort seeks to provide some uniformity and clarity to the existing wayfinding schemes downtown.

A pretty model was shown to the City Council a few months ago. It seems they are now seeking public input and may be moving forward.
