Grocery Outlet To Open On MLK? (13. April 2006, 11:39 by Derek Young) ~ Any Thoughts?

No official announcement yet, but the new tenant for the “old” Rite Aid building on MLK appears to be Grocery Outlet.

Word is that students at TESC call the Olympia store the “Gross Outlet”. Not sure whether that is a true reflection on the quality or if it just struck someone as funny somwhere along the line…

I think they have one on 6th Ave- but I have never been to it…

I think that’s a good fit for MLK. Safeway is not too far away from there, however one can buy bulk canned goods for less at a grocery outlet.

It should help as an anchor along that stretch.
