Vintage Photo - Page 27 (17. April 2006, 08:05 by Derek) ~ Buy Buy Buy

There was absolutely no comment on the last one, so we’ll step back a bit to something a bit less grand and, coincidentally, a street I walk down all the time.

Where is it?

Here’s a hint. The house on the left (the one closest to the camera) is currently for sale.

15th and L Street? I think I remember seeing that house listed.. (shot with the good lighting?) 15th and L is coming to mind..

That house is beautiful on the inside! Great box-beam ceilings, minimal painting-of-the-woodwork, and oh my, that fireplace! Might need to watch for an open house on that one…

However, since I cheated by scanning the real estate listings, I’m certainly not going to claim the spoils and list the address…sounds like Jake had me beat by a mile anyway.

Here’s the photo from last week. Again, another bad photo taken by a guy being walked by his dog. You get the idea.

The trees have grown up a bit.

If you’re in the market, here’s the listing on John L. Scott. If my memory serves me right, this place has actually come down a fair amount since it first came on the market. Those box beamed ceilings are pricey…

is this the birth of photocaching..the combination of geocaching and photoblogging? this could be geocaching for urbanites.
