Today is looking to be absolutely gorgeous. Whether you’re on the waterfront enjoying the (payment optional) Freedom Fair, blowing up the biggest stash of fireworks you’ve ever bought in your back alley, or consoling your dogs while drinking mojitos in your back yard as your neighbors enjoy their illegal fireworks, please have a fun, safe and sane holiday weekend.

my mint plant is getting put to use today with mint juleps. I’ve been infusing jalapeno cilantro tequila all week for margaritas. My daughter’s pool is outside warming up and the grill is on standby.

I spent the evening at my Uncle’s BBQ and watching the fireworks with my sisters & their hubbies.
I spent the morning FDISK-ing my new laptop and replacing Vista with Ubuntu Linux.
