Time for a virtual beauty pageant to subtly suggest personal hopes of nomination. Here’s my entry:

Presenter asks:
“Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans believe the Tacoma Dome is a 360-degree-view gunner’s bubble designed as accessory for a Toyota truck. Why do you think this is?”
My Response:
I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some, people out there in our nation don’t have maps and, uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as, uh, South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and, I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, or, uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future, for our children.

Captiveyak, if you’ve a plastic smile and a great set of purchased bolt-ons to go with that little speech, you have a future with the pagent circut.

Rick Talbert has more ‘educations’ in his pinky fingernail than captiveyak has in his whole 140 character body.

Say, is this the forum where we practice our award acceptance speech?
“Ladies and gentlemen and whatever, thanks a lot for this leadership award. It’s not easy commentating on local blogs, but I don’t write because it’s easy; I write because, well, it’s not so easy to put into words…
I think it’s time for a little short story. Someone once asked me why I don’t keep up with local Tacoma news. I said first of all, I don’t have the kind of money that some people have to buy a newspaper everyday. And secondly, I always forget what I read, so what’s the point?
Well, upon hearing this, that someone then said to me, “See that wicker basket over there? Go over to the sink and fill it full of water.” I said, “That basket is full of holes.” Then again I was directed, “Take that basket over to the sink and fill it with water.” So I said, “What’s the point? All the water will just rush out the side.” Then the person said to me, “True, but the basket will be a lot cleaner.”
Well ladies and gentlemen and whatever, that’s why I read and commentate on local blogs—-It’s pointless, but I get a good brain rinse.
Thank you and God Bless.
