Jackson Building Back on Track? (23. July 2010, 06:06 by Derek Young) ~

The TNT reported yesterday that the developers behind the Jackson Building at South 25th and I Streets have found the money to continue. This doesn’t settle the lawsuit between the bank and the developers, but it’s … something. We’ll see where this goes next.

I live right by this building and in the last week they have moved the fencing that was blocking a lane on Yakima. I don’t think they really are planning on working on this building anytime soon. Also, I was told that the exposed yellow is not meant to be out in the element. I don’t care what is written in the paper but this building is rotting.

The building is likely rotting if there are places where the particle board is exposed.
