One of the longstanding traditions of our community is the Browns Point Salmon Bake, held every other August in northeast Tacoma. This event, which celebrates its 64th anniversary this year, will fill the spacious accomodations of the Browns Point Improvement Club on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8th.
While the traditionally-prepared baked salmon dinner costs $18 for adults, $10 for children and $15 for seniors, the event itself is free. Live music, entertainment, a beer garden and children’s activities will be available to the public. Participants can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a range of 40 prizes.
For more details and the history of this event, check out the press release posted at Tacomamama.com.
