As you plan your weekend, be sure to consider Woofstock, the annual pet adoption event held at the University of Puget Sound campus. Perhaps you’ll find your new best friend among the wide range of companion animals hosted by over 20 rescue and adoption groups from across the Northwest. Experts will be on hand to assist those interested in pet adoption.
This event will also feature live music and many informational booths. Dogs who plan to attend are encouraged to bring swim gear, since refreshing wading pools will be set up for their use (lifeguards will not be on duty).
As any visitor to an animal shelter knows, the number of adoptable homeless pets is heartbreaking. Last year, Woofstock helped give homes to 115 such pets. Visit the Dugan Foundation website for more information.

Yes, the dusty floor of the Mecca! Most ghetto photo shoot EVER… Sorry about that.

Yeah but the dust marks on the sheet totally complement the organism’s coat. Well done, that is actually a very, very good artistic blunder. Stray animals aren’t concerned with things like perfect pictures, so the pictures should not be perfect.
