Weekend Preview: music and mayhem (20. August 2010, 11:13 by Steve Dunkelberger) ~

Well kids, the summer is over — all three days of it. The offspring will be heading off to school toot sweet, and the sky will grow even more gray as fall comes.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t have one more party. Music and Art in Wright Park is a good way to give a tip of the hat to the summer that was.

The free day-long event Saturday will have a play list that promises not to disappoint. The roster includes: Twink the Wonderkid, Girl Trouble, Clear Cut the City, The Speans, C.F.A., Stone Axe, I Defy, The Dignitaries, Good Gravy, Si Si Si, Pioneers West, James Hunnicutt, Lozen, The F—-ing Eagles and Gold Teeth.

Music starts at noon and runs to 7:30 p.m. And of course there are the after parties dotted around town.
