Tipster JR informs me (in Derek’s absence) that there is a Japanese restaurant in the permit stage for the Carlton Building. This could be a great addition to the “mini neighborhood” surrounding Pacific Square…

Fujiya is a great place. However, we need another and that would be right by the university.

Don’t forget about the art supply store too!

If I am not mistaken, it will be the one and only fine arts supply store in Tacoma… as opposed to the “arts and craft” stores like Michael’s.
