Exit133 Photo Project ( 8. June 2006, 06:09 by Derek Young) ~ Grab the Camera. Time For Some Fun.

Have you been wondering what you could do this weekend? Have you thought it would be fun to wander around our neighborhoods with a digital camera taking a few pictures? Do you like Tacoma history and want to do more to help Exit133? If so, I need your help.

I’m working on a little project for this website and I need photos of approximately 80 locations around town. The locations are throughout the city, from Point Defiance to Steilacoom, Browns Point to Salmon Beach. If I tried to take pictures myself, it would take a very long time. With your help we may be able to get this project online early next week.

Maybe if the weather’s nice we could meet after some picture taking fun for a little bocce in the park. Interested? If you can’t make bocce, you can still take pictures. The more the merrier!

Interested? Send me an email via the contact page and tell me how many locations you want. Two? Good. Ten? Great. More? Awesome!

Thank you.

I can’t make it this weekend but maybe when I have my digital photo tips class we can focus on an area you need coverage? We’ll need a subject for the session to focus on, so to speak, and contributing to your project might work out nicely.

Let me know.

As an outgrowth from my Bad Owners web site project, I picked up a strange fascination to research Paul Post’s properties. I thought it would be interesting to document all his properties. While most “popular” on the Hilltop- he has properties all over town. He probably owns property near one or more of the 80 you are looking for Derek. So shoot me some addresses and I’ll snap some shots as I am out and about.

Is anyone else interested in documenting Paul Post’s properties? Let me know.
