Condo Map Revised (18. June 2006, 18:02 by Derek Young) ~

I’ve updated the Exit133 Condo Project Map to make it a bit more interesting and useful. It’s color coded now to note the stages of each project’s development whether it is in permitting, construction is complete, or if it’s just a rumor. It makes it really apparent where this condo frenzy started and where it’s heading. I like the colors.

The links to each project’s website will be back shortly. Not all the status information is correct for each project. We were dealing with a lot of informatoin. In the meantime, take a look and send me any corrections via the contact page.

A special thanks to Jake for doing most of the hard work to get this updated and online.

Nice work. The best condo update map in the city. Congratulations. Its nice to see the progress in the city.

Unfortunately, the Old City Hall seems to be delayed. Monthy after month passes and the place just remains empty with no action in site, yet they removed almost all of the tenants on January 1, 2006.

Does anyone have any updates?

...the map didn’t work. Did I catch you during an update?

It works on my machines running IE, Firefox, and Safari. I’ve heard from others that it isn’t working on the same browsers due to a “permission denied” error in the javascript. The crazy thing is that our machines have the exact same security settings. So, if you don’t see anything on the map, can you send me an email and tell me what browser you’re running. Thank you.

Jake (since you are the condo info King): What’s up with that project on the site of that brick warehouse that burned down a few years ago at 25th & Jefferson? Has anyone heard if it’s going to happen? It’s a sweet piece of land! Sad to see the brick building gone though…

Sad, too, Morgan, in that that icehouse was one of the oldest buildings in the city. The other big question is the old Pacific Brewery:

Looks like the site was sold July 2005 for $650k to Jefferson Street LLC. Haven’t heard of any plans yet.
The LLC registered agent is an attorney in Federal Way.
If I hear or see anything I’ll let everyone know.

Does anyone know whats up with the building that is being turned into storage? I have been wondering what is going on there. I haven’t seen any movement and the crane is just sitting there. Aren’t cranes pretty expensive to rent?

The last I heard they were moving foward on the u-store-it plans… but with Sound Transit talking about building a right up to their doorstep, I’m not sure if their plans were impacted.
