Hustler Hollywood Landing in Tacoma (29. June 2006, 11:24 by Derek Young) ~ Hmmm...
In a further sign that Tacoma is the new ‘it’ place, we hear that Hustler Hollywood – an upscale adult store – is planning a Tacoma location. It’s sad to see the old school grittiness swept away and replaced with these high brow fancy shops… No word yet on the location or expected opening dates.

It would bring people downtown, probaly more than any other store down there.
I don’t see it making a good fit in any building that is currently down there. Maybe in a new retail development.. Maybe the Jay Heights condo development?

Hopefully it will be towards South Tacoma Way / Tacoma Mall Blvd where some of the other stores like that are.
Doesn’t really seem to fit in with a “revitalization” vision for downtown Tacoma…

The store is going around the Hosmer/Silver Dollar area. I’m not sure of the exact place, but my sister told me it’s part of a development in that area.

I had Lakewood on my mind. When I think of a store like that the military is the first thing that comes to mind. Maybe it is going in with the new Lowes on Hosmer
